What is CurvLogic?

CurvLogic is an AI-powered optimization intelligence platform for MetaTrader 5. It automates the entire Expert Advisor lifecycle — from discovering and profiling EAs, through multi-stage parameter optimization with AI analysis, to live deployment with automated risk controls and real-time performance monitoring.

Is CurvLogic a trading bot or EA?

No. CurvLogic is a management platform for your existing Expert Advisors. It doesn't generate trading signals or make trading decisions itself. Instead, it helps you find optimal parameters for your EAs, deploy them intelligently, and manage the associated risks. Your EAs do the trading — CurvLogic provides the intelligence layer around them.

Do I need to install any software?

You need MetaTrader 5 running on a Windows machine (your own computer or a VPS). CurvLogic's Manager EA runs inside MT5 and communicates with the CurvLogic platform. The web dashboard is accessed through your browser — nothing else to install.

MT5 Requirements

What MT5 setup do I need?

You need at least one MetaTrader 5 terminal installed and running. For production use, we recommend:

• A dedicated MT5 terminal for running optimizations (can be on a VPS)
• A separate MT5 terminal for live trading (if you plan to deploy EAs)
• Windows machines — MT5 only runs on Windows

Can I use multiple MT5 instances?

Yes. CurvLogic supports multiple MT5 instances across different machines. Each instance can be assigned a specific role — optimization, live trading, or both. This lets you run optimizations without affecting your live trading terminals.

Which brokers are supported?

CurvLogic works with any MT5 broker. It connects to your MT5 terminals regardless of which broker they're registered with. Your broker choice, account types, and leverage settings are entirely your own.

Does CurvLogic access my trading account?

CurvLogic communicates with MT5 via a Manager EA running inside your terminal. The EA reads performance data (trades, equity, positions) and executes deployment/management commands on your behalf. CurvLogic never has direct access to your MT5 login credentials — the EA runs inside your MT5 terminal under your control.

AI & Analysis

Which AI providers are used?

CurvLogic supports OpenAI (GPT-4o), Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, and xAI (Grok). You provide your own API keys and choose which provider to use for each type of analysis. Different stages of the pipeline can use different providers.

What data is sent to AI providers?

Only optimization results (parameter values and performance metrics like profit, drawdown, Sharpe ratio) and portfolio context (summary statistics of existing EAs). No personal information, account credentials, or financial data is ever included.

Can I customize the AI analysis?

Yes. All AI prompts and analysis criteria are configurable through the Settings interface. You can adjust thresholds, add domain-specific instructions, and modify how the AI evaluates candidates — all without any technical changes.

Live Trading

How are EAs deployed?

After you approve a candidate, CurvLogic creates deployment instructions that are automatically picked up by the Manager EA on your MT5 terminal. The EA is deployed with the exact parameters from the optimization pipeline. You can choose graduated deployment for a phased rollout.

What happens if something goes wrong?

CurvLogic's risk control engine provides multiple layers of protection: loss limits, drawdown monitoring, time schedules, and news avoidance. You can also manually close trades, hedge positions, or stop EAs from the web dashboard at any time. All automated actions are logged for your review.

Can I manage EAs that weren't deployed through CurvLogic?

Yes. CurvLogic can discover and manage EAs that are already running on your charts, even if they weren't deployed through the optimization pipeline. This lets you bring existing EAs under CurvLogic's performance monitoring and risk management.
